  • DD 4.0.3 release with YP 2.2.3 version that went into QA.

  • Update 8/14 : YP 2.2.4 has been released (SPEC-1662). Will put a Dab update on the schedule.
  • Update 10/9 - Jan-Simon did the uprev to YP 2.2.4. Will make the release on a time available basis.

    • 11/6 - Thierry and George gave a readout of the audio hackfest and pipewire roadmap from Edinburgh. George will create a presentation on pipewire and its roadmap and how it pertains to AGL. Thierry gave an update on getting HFP working. Will provide a written update by Thursday.
    • 11/13 - Thierry: plan - bring ofono support within bluez-alsa daemon, due to conflict between bluez-alsa and ofono over hfp.
      • Plan is to land in rc2 for GG
    • 11/20 - Thierry making progress with ofono and Bluez-alsa. Sounds like it should be ready in another week if progress continues at its current pace.
    • 11/27 - Thierry continues to make progress. Looking to get into RC3
    • 12/4 - Still WIP and shooting for RC3. Thierry's patch was accepted upstream so he seems to be on the right path.
    • 12/11 - WIP and making progress on GG, but not committed to RC3 yet (deadline a week from Thursday). Would like to get into FF for CES as well, but Thierry did not sound too promising.
    • 12/18 - GG submitted by Thierry. Will hold off on flounder until after CES. Discussed microphone issues.

  • Documentation Improvements - Dennis brought up that he has been showing AGL around his office and to other people. He noted that the AGL documentation site is out of date with respect to “Getting Started”. His team is interested in creating a custom device creation and app development. His “Hello World” app no longer works as a starting point. He has some ideas on how to improve things. Will send out an email to the list and create a Jira ticket.

  • Documentation Improvements - Dennis brought up that he has been showing AGL around his office and to other people. He noted that the AGL documentation site is out of date with respect to “Getting Started”. His team is interested in creating a custom device creation and app development. His “Hello World” app no longer works as a starting point. He has some ideas on how to improve things. Will send out an email to the list and create a Jira ticket.

    • Kurokawa - it was very helpful to have the team in Karlsruhe having the same set up and testing the demo in real time along with the guys in Yokohama. Spare hardware was an issue. LED, USB hub, display all broke during the integration and moves in Yokohama. Nice to have a console PC dedicated to demo unit as well as an iPhone for demonstrating the Bluetooth features. Need to schedule demo presenters so we have coverage.

Special ALS Demo Integration Meeting

Tanikawa:

  • Used image from Jan-Simon and USB audio and RC2 from IoT.bzh.
    • Played sound. System unstable. Media player crashed, no audio frequently. Could not try Fiberdyne amp. Gave up and integrated HVAC.
    • HVAC - Kusakabe-san LIN controller works. LED controller works. LED may be overheating the USB hub. One hub broke. Cannot run LED and LCD panel at the same time. I2C port number changes at start up so we need a config file (being worked on by Jordan)
    • Backup plan image is to use tip of eel without 4a. Tanikawa will prepare that for Tuesday set up in Tokyo.

Stephane:

  • Sandbox in meta-agl-devel should fix the 4a config by adjusting the revisions of source code. Need to test apps. Media player
  • Need to merge Loic's latest change (14411)
