Purpose and Goals

We are holding a face to face meeting from September 11-13 at the LG Silicon Valley Lab in Santa Clara, California. The main purpose of the meeting is to finalize the Audio, Window Manager, Home Screen, Graphics, UI, and App Framework architecture discussions and have a blueprint for completing the work in 2018.

In addition LG will share the latest info on WAM (Web App Manager) adding web app support to AGL. LG will hold an AGL Hackathon on Thursday 9/13 and will be available to help attendees create new (or port existing) web apps to run on AGL.

Also note that Linaro Connect takes place the following week in Vancouver, BC so if that is of interest then plan your travel accordingly. Vancouver is 981 miles to the North (17hr drive, 2hr flight, or what could be a beautiful 27 hour train ride).

Space is somewhat limited. Please contact events@automotivelinux.org to request a seat. No formal registration will be required, but Walt will reply with an approval to attend.
