      • Paul did some testing with the BBE graphics enabled which is something SanCloud does infrequently. The graphics are set for 720p on the BBE. Scaling no longer works which is a known issue (feature) with the new compositor. Only 1080p is supported.

      • Edi's Test report for master and Lamprey M3. Everything looked ok. PipeWire not freezing anymore on Intel platforms.
      • Edi noted that most .wav files do not play in the media player on Intel platforms. Will write Jira ticket.

  • Paul gave us an update on Read-only PR server (SPEC-3770). Paul's builds are fine, but upstream the YP auto builders hang and there has been no good way to figure out what is going there.
  • Daniel asked about Renesas kernel 5.10 BSP. Kurokawa said that they are skipping the LL merge window. Will be available for Marlin.

      • Jan-Simon filed Jira tickets for documentation updates that were assigned to specific people. Please look out for the email from Jira and complete these tasks.
      • SanCloud BSP and TI J7 BSP are in gerrit and merged. No other BSP updates are expected.
      • TI Vayu and Cyclone 5 were removed from the build for LL. RPI 3 will be removed from the build.

      • SPEC-3957 - PipeWire freezing with Upsquare and Minnow boards
      • Scott posted a bunch of changes to gerrit for the IC containers. The biggest change is 26419 which needs to be tried out for R-Car. Yamaguchi and Ishii are looking at that. Once they get R-Car working the patch can be merged. This will be merged for M3. The other fixes will be merged for M2.
      • M2 will be tagged later this week.

  • Ishii-san reported SPEC-3991 which is a timer leak in qt5. Will submit to out gerrit until it gets fixed upstream.

      • Lorenzo submitted patches for HVAC and Homescreen web apps that fixes some of the race conditions in web apps. Will need to fix the other apps as well.

Jan-Simon sees this with QEMU. Race condition? Lorenzo to create a new Jira ticket to track. Issues from last HTML5 build (JJ) persist. Will release Koi with the limitation that only Virtual Box is guaranteed to work for Web Apps. Lorenzo also noted that SPEC-3799 is seen about 30% of the time when launching from QEMU.

  • Itchy Icefish - 9.0.4 originally scheduled for September 4.Push back one month and determine if we have content for another release?
  • 8/25 - 9.0.3 release was sent out. Thud is now not supported by Yocto so an update from upstream is unlikely. Will see if we get anything internally.

    • Might do a 9.0.4 for the cynagora db fixes
  • 12/1
    • Will kick off build of 9.0.4 later this week in conjunction with 10.0.1
    • Edi - Test report for 9.0.4 . Serial console broken on Intel Upsquare. (SPEC-3353). Was fixed on JJ and master. Scott can back port it, then Jan-Simon will retag 9.0.4.
  • 12/15 - Edi will retest the Upsquare image so we can release.
