      • Edi - Test report for master . Both master and M2 looked good. Paul and Jan-Simon figured out the RPI 4 audio issue, but it did not make the M2. M2 will be released this week.
      • M3 issues - VMDK open issues and documentation (SPEC-3731 and one more). CI will have screen capture testing of the compositor. • 1/26
      • Edi - Test report for master . RPI 4 kernel was updated to 5.4 in the updated meta-raspberrypi. Edi says the audio has some hiss on HDMI. DSI touchscreen (official RPI touchscreen) is broken, Broken upstream, may be fixed in 5.10 kernel.

    • Webapps - SPEC-3780 and SPEC-3781 are must fix for M3. Gerrit 25983 will resolve these. Will merge this for M3.1. SPEC-3786 is still an issue that needs to be looked at.

  • 2/9
    • Edi - Test report for Koi M3.1 and Web Apps . M3.1 Qt Apps, everything basically ok. Web Apps, cannot switch apps. First app (media player) launches and runs, then switch to Home Screen and launch HVAC and UI freezes. Renesas boards and QEMU have the problem. VB ok. Lorenzo sees this very occasionally. Jan-Simon sees this with QEMU. Race condition? Lorenzo to create a new Jira ticket to track. Issues from last HTML5 build (JJ) persist. • Documentation

New Business:

  • Reference hardware - proposal to issue BT/Wifi module with the TI Bluetooth hardware from the KF instead of the Qualcomm module. One question to Panasonic is to use the QC 6174 part that has firmware available. Scott pointed out that the TI will not work with “out of the box” Pulse Audio and Blues it will not work properly. Kurokawa-san checked with Cogent and they are using the KF design with Pulse Audio and different stack. Need to make sure the antenna uses the external connector on the Reference Hardware and not an onboard antenna like the KF since it is not usable most environments.
  • Update of PipeWire and WirePlumber - George explained that WirePlumber release from June uses the desktop policy instead of the AGL policy so there is three weeks of work to get the update ready. Not likely to happen for Koi.
  • Meet next week - yes
  • Paul received the Ref HW and KF from Raquel.

  • Jumping Jellyfish
  • 10.0.0 build sent out.
  • KK
    • merge window open on master
      • 10/20
        • Edi - Test report for master . Intel audio now fixed. Nothing major to report. New issue found when PB profile is disabled in the phone (SPEC-3652)
        • Upgrade to YP 3.1.3 is in flight.
    • 11/03
      • Edi - Test report for master . Audio on H3 has wrong (different?) default. Now defaults to HDMI instead of audio jack. No audio on Kingfisher with the updated Renesas BSP, Scott started looking into. Frederic and Ronan are looking at IoT.bzh.
    • 11/10
      • Edi - Test report for master . Kingfisher audio is no working on HDMI. Another change is pending in gerrit (25510) to restore audio to the jack as the default for both H3 standalone and with KF.

Window Manager

  • 9/22 - Working on the issues identified by Edi in the test cycle for RC4. Working on upgrade to Chromium 79 (SPEC-3576). This is the version that LG used for the latest release of WAM. Currently working on master. Should be portable to Jellyfish,

  • 10/13 - updating Waltham transmitter to use latest libweston. Now can stream to the waltham receiver and receive input from the remote device. Still some issues left to be resolved. Note: Walt did not do justice to Marius explanation in this brief summary, but it sounds like he is making progress and is doing a good job at modularizing it.
