FOSDEM (Free and Open Source Software Developers' European Meeting) is the biggest annual event in Europe about free and open-source software development. FOSDEM 2018 was held at 3 and 4 February at the Université Libre de Bruxelles Solbosch campus in the southeast of Brussels, Belgium.

For a second year in a row Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) had a stand at the AW building during FOSDEM 2018. The following demonstrations were presented:

• 2018 CES Demonstrator using the Electric Eel release
• Automotive user interface based on Chromium by Igalia
• Software updates with meta-updater and OSTree by HERE Technologies and Konsulko Group using Funky Flounder

On Saturday night, 3 February, the automotive community had a dinner at restaurant DELECTA in Brussels. Contributors to Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), GENIVI Development Platform (GDP) and Tizen gathered together to discuss technologies and interoperability between the projects.
