IC Topics DRM Lease, Container integration, ELISA

• Damian gave an update on the DRM Lease manager work being done by Igel. slides
  • Change the target release to master instead of Jellyfish to incorporate the latest Renesas BSP And 5.4 kernel.
• Tanikawa-san gave an update on his IC Container work
  • Some additional possible container technologies were discussed.
  • Jan-Simon and Scott suggested he take a look at ideas for OE/Yocto and an update
• ELISA update from Yamaguch-san

• RBA updates - meeting notes documented in Confluence

• Sound Manager RFQ response
  • Nishiguchi-san asked about following the IC EG development process. This was not requested as part of the SOW. Walt requested that IC EG determine which sections of the IC process must be followed and we will ask Collabora for a re-quote if necessary.

• Yocto topics
  • YP 3.2 released. Weston 9 included. Plan is to stick with 3.1 through early 2022.
  • Create next branch to track upstream YP to minimize issues with upgrades later on? Question for SC to decide to fund this.

• RHSA Update
  • BSP available for KK M1
  • No resolution on Qualcomm firmware distribution issue. Panasonic is working on this.
  • GPS needs a fix to be posted by Scott
  • Camera tested manually, but the Panasonic device tree does not support the camera and we do not have an application that uses it. Will need a device tree change to enable the camera if there is a specific camera configuration to be run out of the box.
  • CAN not tested yet. Need to verify the pin out of the connector.
  • Feedback requested by RHSA for next gen reference hardware by adding comments in SPEC-3690.
  • Scott can provide a spreadsheet that Raquel created for the Konsulko testing of the BSP.
  • Plan is to add the Ref HW to Edi's weekly manual testing.

  • Date-san asked Mazda and Suzuki for contributions of components for logging and vehicle bus. Meeting to be set up to discuss collaboration with IC EG as well and sharing of components.
  • Reviewed Lifecycle management topic and usage of systemd. Created a Jira ticket for this issue SPEC-3727.
  • Need to define the hardware target(s) for testing of PR IVI is. Jan-Simon will give a talk at IVI EG meeting about what is available in CI and what we need to enable CI for PR.
