Tizen IVI Feature Gap Analysis

The following table contains the results of a gap analysis between the features contained in a typical IVI system and the capability of realizing those features using the [TBD] release of Tizen-IVI.

Example1: Item 2, FM tuner, seek, tune, direct tune, presets. Basic radio tuner middleware was available in the [TBD] release so the feature was deemed feasible to implement on the [TBD] release, hence not gap was found.

Example2: Item 3, SDARS, seek, tune, direct tune, presets. No SDARS tuner middleware was available in the [TBD] release so the feature was judged as not feasible using the [TBD] release, hence a gap was found.

63 Hard Key Input SupportKeys could be integrated into the silverbox or connected to a remote center stack via CAN 1The WRT has the capability to present hardware key events to an application. This behaviour is inherited from Tizen 2. The expectation is that hw key events will be generated by a driver ( the linux 'evdev' mechanism ) and initially handled by X Input processing. Weston/Wayland can use the same source as X. Not clear how CAN events representing keypresses are handled ( if they are ).Yes, for the CAN event case
