Getting There:

Microchip's office is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the nearest train station Hamamatsu-cho, which is directly accessible from Haneda airport by monorail. (15-20 min from Haneda). Walking directions

Lodging Information

The nearest 5 star hotel is the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay (5-10 min by Taxi). Otherwise, any hotels around Shinagawa station or Tokyo station are good choices.

Task List for F2F

  • Add idrive hardware to demo (Saito-san)
  • Add MOST based rear seat unit hardware (Saito-san)
  • Add LVDS display hardware (Goda-san)
  • Add AM/FM tuner dongle to hardware
  • Add Navi to demo build (Tanikawa-san + Hitachi)
    • Add to meta-agl-demo for now
    • jira request to add Navi to staging tree along with building it for later
  • Test AM/FM tuner app
  • Test audio for AM/Tuner and media player apps
  • Test rear seat video server (Microchip configuration)
  • Test LVDS apps and video
  • Test NXP eval board in the demo configuration
  • Add NXP eval board BSP to demo build
  • Test web browser on Porter board
  • Get revised home screen application (Qt Company)
  • Debug iDrive integration with Wayland and make sure the keypresses get to the apps (Yury++)
  • Come up with a way to show preemptive audio during media player or tuner app (like Navi app or telephony app would normally do)

Decisions

  • Cloned CES2016 repo main branch for demo apps into the ALS2016 DemoApps repository.
